Marek Spanel

Marek Spanel is an experienced professional in the gaming industry, currently serving as CEO and owner of Bohemia Interactive since September 1997, where responsibilities include managing independent game development studios and projects. Marek has also held various ownership roles at ParlamentniListy.cz and Echo24.cz a Týdeník Echo since 2021, and partners with SPM Invest. Prior to Bohemia Interactive, Marek worked as Marketing and Localization Manager at Cenega Czech and served in the Czech Army during compulsory military service. Early work experience includes roles in retail and wholesale at JRC Czech. Marek's educational background includes studies at Charles University and Gymnazium Na Vitezne Plani.
