Austin Canney is an experienced professional in the wine and beverage industry, currently serving as the Wine & Beer Manager-Buyer at Boise Co-op since November 2019, where focus is on developing strategic programs for the Wine, Beer, and Cheese Departments. Prior to this role, Austin held positions as a Wine Broker for multiple distributors including Vinthology Wine Distributor and Rising Star Wine Group, and serviced the greater Lake Tahoe area through Phenix Wine Distributors. Earlier experience includes managing Uncorked Wines, where customer education and tasting experiences were prioritized, and overseeing liquor and wine buying at High Mountain Liquor. Austin's educational background includes a degree in Ski & Resort Management and Business Administration from Western Colorado University.
