Iris Bouma has extensive experience in consulting and communication roles, currently serving as Director at BOLDT since April 2019, following a progression through several leadership and consulting positions. Prior to BOLDT, Iris held roles at the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies and the EPP Group in the European Parliament, as well as various capacities in academia and government, including a trainee position at the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree and Bachelor’s Degree in Communication & Information Studies from the University of Groningen, complemented by a propaedeutic degree in International Relations & International Organization.
