Boobalan Duraisamy

Boobalan Duraisamy began their career as a Senior Transmission Engineer at Aircel in 2003. In this role, they were responsible for planning microwave SDH and PDH links, configuring Ericsson microwave PDH and SDH nodes, and enhancing traffic capacity of microwave radio hops. Boobalan then joined Ericsson in 2007 as a Senior Network Engineer and later became a Senior Engineer - Network Consulting. During their time at Ericsson, Boobalan was involved in project presales activities, preparing transmission network solutions and bill of quantities for 2G/3G/LTE RAN. Boobalan also designed transport networks and optimized existing transport networks. Boobalan's most recent role is as a Principal Engineer at Mobilitie starting in 2018.

Boobalan Duraisamy obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Bharathidasan University, completing their studies between 1998 and 2002. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications related to technology and networking. These certifications include Ericsson Certified Technology - MPLS, Ericsson Certified Professional - Evolved IP Network (EIN), Ericsson Certified Professional - Microwave Transmission, CCNA - Routing & Switching, RAN Transport Professional, Microwave Professional, IP Networking Professional, and Mobile Backhaul Professional. Boobalan also holds a certification in Architecting Microsoft Azure Solutions from Microsoft.
