Nicki Palmer

Nicola Palmer has over two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, primarily at Verizon, where roles included Chief Technology Ambassador, Chief Product Development Officer, Chief Network Engineering Officer and Head of Wireless Networks, and Chief Technology Officer from 2013 to 2023. Responsibilities encompassed planning, operations, and engineering of the nation’s leading 4G LTE and 5G networks, overseeing a team of 9,000 engineers. Prior experience at Verizon from 2000 to 2012 included senior leadership positions in global network operations and engineering, focusing on voice, data, and IP networks across 150 countries, as well as on the fiber-to-the-premises initiative for FiOS services. Early career experience at Bell Atlantic included directing major customer services. Nicola holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Penn State University and an MBA from The Wharton School.
