Mackenzie O'Reilly-Christensen has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Starting in 2016, Mackenzie worked as the PR/Marketing Coordinator, Event Planner, and Social Media Marketer for Mackenzie'sCampus Media. From 2017 to 2018, they interned at First Avenue & the 7th St. Entry, serving as a Marketing Intern and Entertainment Business Assistant. Later in 2017, they also had an editorial internship at Twin Cities Daily Planet as a Researcher and Information Navigator. In 2019, Mackenzie took on the role of Marketing and Events Coordinator at Westown Association Inc, where they managed press releases, sponsorship packages, and newsletters, revised print materials, maintained contact databases, collaborated with media teams, updated website content, and oversaw an intern. Mackenzie then joined Bray Architects in 2019 as a Marketing Assistant, where they assisted with marketing coordination and later became the Marketing Coordinator before leaving in 2021. Currently, Mackenzie is working as a Marketing & Communications Specialist at Bolton & Menk, Inc.
Mackenzie O'Reilly-Christensen completed their education at the University of Minnesota from 2015 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Strategic Communications and Public Relations. Prior to attending the university, they attended Homestead High School from 2010 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Mackenzie also obtained a certification in Social Media Marketing: Optimization from LinkedIn in March 2019.
