Antonio Arrais de Castro

Antonio Arrais de Castro, PhD, serves as the Chief Technology Officer of bolttech, where responsibilities include leading the Insurance Exchange and overseeing global engineering efforts since March 2020. With extensive experience in technology leadership, Antonio previously held CTO positions at EdirectInsure Group, GlassesGroupGlobal, Jumia, and UNEDGED, among others, demonstrating a strong focus on digital platforms and interactive experiences. Antonio's earlier career involved project management and consultancy roles in various organizations, including Vector21 and MATILOG. An accomplished educator, Antonio has provided coaching and training across multiple institutions, accumulating over 10,000 hours of experience. Antonio holds a PhD in Systems Engineering from Universidade do Minho, along with several certifications in project management and business analysis.
