Andrea Torcelli has a diverse work experience in various companies. Andrea started their career at Piaggio Group as a Simulation Engineer from June 1997 to May 1998. Andrea then worked at Carraro DriveTech SpA, where they held the positions of Chief Engineer from December 1999 to March 2007 and Design and Application Manager from March 2007 to September 2010. After that, they joined Bonfiglioli as the R&D Director from October 2010 to June 2017. Later, they were promoted to the role of Chief Technology Officer at Bonfiglioli from July 2017 to the present. Additionally, they became a Board Member at BI-REX Competence Center in 2019.

Andrea Torcelli has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from UC San Diego, which was obtained from 1995 to 1996. Later, from 1992 to 1998, Torcelli pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Università degli Studi di Padova. Torcelli furthered their education by completing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at The University of Kansas School of Business from 2005 to 2007. Finally, Torcelli attended IESE Business School in 2018 and 2019 to complete the Advanced Management Program (AMP).
