Martin Chmelík began their work experience as a Senior Controller at PRIMA ZDROJ holding, a.s. (CBA Slovakia, s.r.o.) in September 2003 and held this role until March 2007. From April 2007 to February 2014, they served as a Plant Controller at Bonfiglioli. After that, they became the Deputy CFO at Bonfiglioli from March 2013 to February 2014. Currently, Martin Chmelík is the CFO at Bonfiglioli, starting in March 2014.
Martin Chmelík started their education by graduating from the Business Academy in Považská Bystrica in 1999. Martin then attended the University of Zilina from 1999 to 2002, studying the Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications. Moving forward, they pursued their Bachelor's degree at the Faculty of Economic Informatics, Department of accounting at the Ekonomická univerzita v Bratislave from 2003 to 2006. Later, Martin obtained their Master's degree from the same university in 2008, specializing in auditing. More recently, they completed their FIA degree in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2021, and they are currently pursuing a DipIFR degree from the same institution. Additionally, they obtained a certification in "A Complete Course on IFRS - International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Advance Level" from the Univerzita Verlag Dashöfer.
