Serving the residents of Bonneville County in and around Idaho Falls, ID to include Law Enforcement services for the Cities of Ammon, Iona, Swan Valley, and Irwin, our team of Deputies operate the Bonneville County Jail, Driver's License and Civil Divisions within the Sheriff's Office along with Court Security and Bailiff operations at the Bonneville County Courthouse.  The Bonneville County Sheriff's Office is responsible for Search and Rescue Operations within our 1900 square miles of East Idaho utilizing more than 40 volunteer SAR members from within our community.  Our area of responsibility stretches from the outer borders of the Idaho National Laboratory to the western Wyoming border and include the South Fork of the Snake River, Palisades Reservoir, and Ririe Reservoir.  Bonneville County is rich in business and agriculture, in addition to being situated among some of the best outdoor recreation and scenic locations in the country.  Our Deputies are dedicated to service and proud of the strong support of our community.  We continually strive to make a difference and preserve Law and Order along side our local Public Safety and municipal partners.  These are the things we believe make Bonneville County one of the greatest places to live.
