Tomasz Miotk

Tomasz Miotk has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Tomasz is currently working at Booksy as a Principal Software Engineer, where they have been since November 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Backend Chapter Leader at Booksy from September 2021 until their current role. Before joining Booksy, Tomasz worked as a Senior Python Developer at the company from January 2021 to September 2021. Tomasz initially started their career at Booksy as a Python Developer in November 2017, where they were responsible for developing an application for managing appointments and integrating APIs with Vue.

Before their tenure at Booksy, Tomasz worked at Emplocity as a Junior Python Developer from February 2017 to October 2017. During this time, they developed a system of spiders for crawling job posting sites and a candidate search engine. Tomasz also created an application based on Flask and PostgreSQL for employers to search in the Resume database.

In 2015, Tomasz worked at Robotics Inventions as a Software Engineer. Tomasz conducted path planning algorithm research for mobile robots, designed the highest level controller for an autonomous cleaning robot, and developed the RI SPIRIT, a generic autonomy module. Tomasz also had an internship at the company from June 2015 to August 2015.

Earlier in their career, Tomasz worked at Talent Company as a Teaching Assistant from September 2011 to June 2013. The organization focused on spreading and teaching computer science among young people.

Tomasz Miotk attended Bilingual High School No. 3 in Gdynia from 2010 to 2013. During this time, they focused on extended Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, and English. After high school, they went on to study at Warsaw University of Technology. From 2013 to 2017, they pursued a degree in Mechatronics, Automatics, and Robotics, earning the degree of Inżynier (Inż.). Following that, they continued their education at Warsaw University of Technology from 2017 to 2019, where they obtained a Magister (Mgr) degree in Automatics and Robotics.
