Chair, Lifetime Achievement Award Selection Panel 2016-2021 at BookTrust

Nicolette Jones serves as the exhibition co-curator for the House of Illustration, specifically for the Raymond Briggs retrospective since 2021. With extensive experience in children's literature, Nicolette has been the children's books editor for the Sunday Times since 1993, focusing on selecting and promoting notable children's books. Since 1990, Nicolette has also been a professional chair for various literary events, alongside roles at The Story Museum as a consultant and event chair, and as a freelance contributor to BookBrunch. Additionally, Nicolette chaired the Lifetime Achievement Award selection panel and the In Other Words selection panel for Booktrust, recognizing outstanding authors and encouraging the publication of translated children's literature. Education includes an MA in English Literature from St Hilda's College, Oxford, and attendance at Yale University.
