Amanda Lawson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Amanda began their career as a Scenic Charge Artist at DOMA Theatre Co. in 2012, where they worked until September 2013. Following this, Amanda took on roles as a Scenic Artist at Queen Mary's CHILL and Charlie Productions. In 2014, they worked as an Assistant Scenic Artist at Queen Mary's Dark Harbor and Queen Mary's CHILL.

In 2012, Amanda had a concurrent role as a Sales Associate and Seasonal Sales Associate at Bath & Body Works and White Barn. Amanda continued their sales experience there until January 2016.

Beginning in 2014, Amanda worked as an Overhire Theatre Tech at the Las Virgines School District until August 2016. In 2015, they transitioned to the position of Manager at Emerald Knights Comics And Games, where they worked until September 2017.

From October 2017 to December 2018, Amanda served as a Manager at Blastoff Comics. Most recently, they have been employed at BOOM! Studios, where they first worked as a Marketing Assistant from December 2018 to July 2021 before being promoted to Marketing Coordinator in July 2021, their current role.

Amanda Lawson completed their education at West Virginia University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Design and Technology. Prior to that, they attended Sherando High School from 2003 to 2007, although they did not obtain a specific degree or field of study at the high school level.
