Joana Lafuente has a diverse range of work experience in the art and creative industry. Joana founded RAWR! Studio in 2011 and served as the Art Production Manager and Senior Artist. Joana also worked at IDW Publishing as a Comic Artist and Colorist, where they created cover art for The Transformers and colored issues and covers for The Transformers and G.I. Joe. Joana later joined BOOM! Studios as a Comic Cover Artist and Colorist, where they worked on covers for Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and colored issues for various titles. Joana has also worked as a Colorist for Vault Comics, Image Comics, and Hasbro on a freelance basis. In addition to their work in the comic industry, Joana has experience as a Freelancer at Picasso Pictures, a Graphic Designer at Miniclip, and a Junior Game Programmer at Blueshark Studio. Joana has also freelanced at Young & Rubicam, an advertising agency.
Joana Lafuente pursued their education at Instituto Superior Técnico from 2003 to 2010. During this period, they obtained a Master's degree in Multimedia Development and Software Engineering.
