Derek Smart is a highly experienced aerospace engineer who has held various technical and managerial positions in renowned companies such as Boom Supersonic, Honda Aircraft Company, Gulfstream Aerospace, GE Aviation, Smiths Aerospace, Airbus, and GKN Aerospace. Derek graduated with a degree in Aerospace Systems Engineering from the University of Hertfordshire in 1997. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer - IMA at Boom Supersonic, Derek has a strong background in avionics, safety, data concentration networks, electrical power, and mission avionics engineering.
