Mechanical/manufacturing Engineer, Labs at Boom Supersonic

Matt Segler is a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer with extensive experience in aerospace and product development. Currently, at Boom Supersonic since May 2019, Segler has contributed to the research, prototyping, and manufacturing of the Overture Aircraft and Symphony Engine, as well as serving as an Airborne Chase Photographer for the XB-1's first flight. Prior roles include leadership in the design and testing of the XB-1 supersonic aircraft, managing a team of technicians, and implementing Lean principles to improve manufacturing processes. Additionally, Segler co-founded CADe App, a startup focused on enhancing CAD user efficiency, and has a diverse background including entrepreneurial ventures with Trilogy Pens and internships in various engineering and design capacities. Segler holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by a Minor in Industrial Design.
