Ray Johnson

Dr. Ray O. Johnson served as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of Lockheed Martin for 9 years, where he directed engineering, technology, production operations, global supply chain, program management, logistics, and sustainment. He led more than 70,000 people, working on more than 4,000 programs that provided some of the nation’s most vital security systems. Currently, he is a business and strategy consultant working with a range of technology-related companies and an active board member on several high-growth tech and aerospace organizations. Dr. Johnson is a Professor of the Practice at the University of Maryland. He holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University.
