Jim Watkins has a strong background in finance and accounting with experience in various leadership roles. Jim started their career at Ernst & Young, where they worked as a Senior Manager for over a decade. Jim also had a role as a Manager in the Global Capital Markets Center in Munich, Germany. In 2011, they joined Mindspeed Technologies as the Vice President, Corporate Controller and Principal Accounting Officer. After three years, they moved to Boot Barn, where they held several roles including Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, Vice President of Investor Relations and External Reporting, and Senior Vice President, Finance & Investor Relations. Currently, Jim is serving as the Chief Financial Officer at Boot Barn.
Jim Watkins earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University between 1992 and 1999.
