Edwin Booth is the current Chairman & CEO of Booths, a position they have held since 1997. Edwin has also served as the Chair of the Lancashire Local Enterprise Partnership from 2011 to 2018.
Booth began their career with E.H. Booth & Co ltd in 1973, where they held various buying, marketing, and HR roles over the next 24 years. In 1997, they were promoted to Executive Chairman, a position they held until their departure in 2017.
Under Booth's leadership, Booths has become one of the leading grocery retailers in the United Kingdom, with over 200 stores across the country. Edwin has been widely recognized for their dedication to quality and customer service, as well as their commitment to supporting local farmers and producers.
Booth is a strong supporter of the arts, and has served on the board of several arts organizations. Edwin is also a patron of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust.
