Hatteras Hoops, M.Eng. Cysec, is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cybersecurity governance, policy, and threat management. Currently serving as the Cybersecurity Governance, Policy & Threat Director at Booz Allen Hamilton since June 2010, Hatteras has excelled in various leadership roles, demonstrating expertise across multiple sectors, including aerospace, defense, finance, and healthcare. Hatteras's career trajectory includes significant contributions as a Senior Technical Intelligence-Operations Integrator and a Predictive Intelligence Engineer, where innovative strategies were implemented to enhance client relationships and capture new business opportunities. Prior to Booz Allen Hamilton, Hatteras served as a Technical Engineer with the US Army, gaining valuable experience in high-pressure environments. Hatteras holds a Master of Engineering in Cybersecurity Policy and Compliance from The George Washington University, a Master of Science in GeoInformatics from George Mason University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Northern Vermont University.
