Julia Dan

Julia has extensive management and investment experience in the life science industry. As CEO of BGI Americas, Julia co-founded and led the genomics sequencing service company to profitability. Prior to that, Julia advised a number of biopharmaceutical and medtech companies on their cross-border strategic partnerships and market expansion. Earlier in her career, she held a senior business development role at Sanofi-Genzyme focusing on licensing and acquisition activities and co-launched the company’s operations in China. Before Sanofi-Genzyme, she co-launched China Construction Bank's operations in Germany.

Julia holds a BA from Beijing Foreign Studies University China, a MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College, and a MPH from Harvard University School of Public Health.
