BORICA AD
Ralitza Toteva has extensive work experience in the field of project management and IT.
From 2019 to the present, they have been serving as the Head of the Project Management Department at BORICA AD, where they are responsible for managing the overall project portfolio in the Bulgarian National Payments System Operator. In addition, they are the program manager for the "BORICA Payment Services" program, which involves the transformation of the Bulgarian payment system to the new ISO 20022 SEPA standards and the implementation of instant payments in Bulgaria.
Prior to this, from 2019 to 2024, Ralitza worked as a Project Manager at BORICA AD, overseeing the implementation of the new payments system in Bulgaria and the migration of the current bulk payments format to ISO 20022 SEPA standards.
Before joining BORICA, Ralitza worked at Piraeus Bank Bulgaria from 2002 to 2019. During their tenure, they served as an IT Manager, responsible for planning and developing the company's systems, analyzing requirements, implementing IT procedures, and providing support to different business units.
Ralitza also held the position of IT Development Manager at Piraeus Bank Bulgaria from 2002 to 2014, where they planned and ensured the implementation of software applications in accordance with agreed costs and timelines.
Their earlier experience includes working as an IT Manager at XIOSBANK from 1994 to 2002 and as a Developer at Ernst & Young Bulgaria from 1992 to 1994.
Ralitza Toteva has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Informatics from Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski, which they obtained from 1988 to 1993. Ralitza also attended 79 "Indira Gandhi" High School from 1981 to 1982, where they studied Informatics. In addition to their formal education, Ralitza Toteva has obtained several certifications, including Scrum Master Certification Specialization from Coursera in 2022, Digital Transformation from Coursera in 2019, and PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate in Project Management from PeopleCert in 2019.
