Austin Ainge

Austin Ainge enters his second season with the Celtics as the team’s Director of Player Personnel. Ainge rejoined the organization after spending two seasons as the Head Coach of the Maine Red Claws of the NBA Development League (2009-11).

Ainge previously worked for the team during the 2008-09 season as a scout. Ainge has previously worked at Southern Utah University where he was responsible for perimeter players, recruiting, player development, video breakdown, and developing game plans. Before coaching he had a very successful playing career at Brigham Young University, where he was a two-year captain and won 2 Mountain West Conference Championships.
