Jordan Neal

Jordan Neal is a highly skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in designing and analyzing complex systems. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer at Boston Dynamics, Jordan is part of the Atlas actuation team. Previously, as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Animax Designs, Inc., notable contributions included the development of advanced technologies for quadrupedal robots and electromechanical systems for prominent clients such as Disney and Universal. Previous roles at HDT Global and various research positions at Virginia Tech’s Robotics and Mechanisms Laboratory highlight a consistent focus on innovative actuator design, control systems, and haptic interfaces. Jordan holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
