Krista Shapton

Krista Shapton serves as a Senior Staff UI/UX Designer at Boston Dynamics since September 2022, with prior experience as Principal Product UX and Interaction Designer at KUKA from November 2018 to September 2022, and Senior User Experience Designer at Rethink Robotics from October 2015 to October 2018, where leadership in UX for Intera 5 features was achieved. Earlier roles included User Interface Designer at Vecna Technologies, Educational Technology Consultant at the MIT Office of Educational Innovation and Technology, and intern positions at Lifelong Kindergarten MIT Media Lab and the University of Toronto, along with research experience at Queen's University. Shapton holds an Ed.M. in Technology, Innovation and Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education, an M.Sc.BMC in Biomedical Communications from the University of Toronto, and a B.Sc. in Biology with a focus on Geological Sciences from Queen's University.
