Nicholas Spadea-Anello

SVP & President, Electrophysiology at Boston Scientific

Nicholas Spadea-Anello has been serving as Senior Vice President and President of Boston Scientific since January 2025. He has been at the forefront of our global Electrophysiology (EP) business since June 2021 as Global President, where he has played a pivotal role in developing and launching a wide array of technologies aimed at treating heart rhythm disorders, including the groundbreaking FARAPULSE™ Pulsed Field Ablation System.

With over three decades of experience in healthcare and medical technology, Nick previously pioneered and led the WATCHMAN™ Structural Heart organization at Boston Scientific. His tenure there included roles as Global President from 2020 to 2021 and General Manager and Global Vice President of WATCHMAN from June 2016 to May 2020, and as Global Vice President of Sales and Marketing from October 2011 to June 2016. Before joining Boston Scientific, Nick held several commercial leadership positions at Johnson & Johnson Ethicon Endo Surgery.

A passionate leader, Nick is dedicated to fostering diverse talent through mentoring relationships and initiatives that promote a vibrant workplace culture. He actively participates in various Employee Resource Groups, championing programs that support inclusion and professional development.

Nick holds a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Temple University.
