Jean Tempel

Jean Tempel has extensive experience in leadership and governance roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Overseer at the Boston Symphony Orchestra, Governing Trustee at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and Trustee at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution since 2009, Jean Tempel has demonstrated a deep commitment to each institution. Previously, Jean Tempel held positions as an Investor and Director at JAZD Markets, LLC, and Sonesta International Hotels, Inc., as well as Founder and General Partner at First Light Capital. Additional contributions include serving as Trustee and Vice Chair at both Northeastern University and Connecticut College. Jean Tempel's educational background includes an Advanced Management Program from Harvard Business School, a BA in Math and Economics from Connecticut College, and an MS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
