Marjorie Arons-Barron is the President of Barron Associates Worldwide, Inc. since February 2000, specializing in communications strategies, reputation management, crisis communications, public affairs, presentation coaching, media training, speech writing, and legacy communications. Arons-Barron serves as Overseer Emerita for the Boston Symphony Orchestra and as Director for the Massachusetts Broadcasting Hall of Fame. Previously, Arons-Barron was a Trustee for the Association of Opinion Journalists and held the position of Executive Director of Media Communications at BankBoston until its merger in 2000. From 1979 to 1999, Arons-Barron was the Editorial Director at WCVB-TV, where public policy issues were addressed through editorial commentary. Additional experience includes roles such as president of the National Broadcast Editorial Association, producer for WGBH-TV's PBS The Advocates, and political affairs reporter for The Boston Phoenix. Arons-Barron holds a B.A. in English from Wellesley College.
