Thomas DC Little is a prominent academic and entrepreneur with extensive experience in engineering education and research. Currently serving as the Associate Dean of Strategic Initiatives at Boston University's College of Engineering since September 1991, Thomas also holds a professorship in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where Thomas DC directs the Multimedia Communications Lab and focuses on networked systems. Previously, Thomas has contributed to innovative educational programs as Associate Dean for Educational Initiatives and has co-founded Rtangent, which developed the Guided™ platform for virtual tours. Thomas has held significant roles in research, including serving as Associate Director of the NSF Smart Lighting Engineering Research Center and founding both Molecular, Inc. and TVisions, Inc. Thomas DC Little earned a PhD in Computer Engineering and an MS in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University, along with a BS in Biomedical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
