Dr. Fred Mampadi is a Senior Researcher at the Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI), specializing in applied artificial intelligence and machine learning since June 2014. With a strong focus on optimizing agricultural practices, enhancing healthcare accessibility, and promoting inclusive education and financial empowerment, Dr. Mampadi is dedicated to advancing Botswana's development through research. Prior to this role, Dr. Mampadi served as a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Botswana from February 2013 to June 2014, with research interests in human factors in computing, adaptive hypermedia learning systems, m-learning, multimedia systems, computer networks, and e-health systems. Dr. Mampadi earned a PhD in Computer Science from Brunel University London and a Master of Science in Distributed Interactive Systems from Lancaster University.
