Salome Bopa is a seasoned finance and legal compliance professional with extensive experience in various sectors. Currently serving as a Finance Specialist and previously as Finance Manager at the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development since August 2014, Salome also holds the position of Head of Legal Compliance at the Botswana Institute for Technology Research and Innovation (BITRI) since March 2007. With a long tenure at the Ministry of Mineral Resources and Water Affairs as a Senior Minerals Officer, Salome provides advisory services on mineral policies and opportunities in diamond cutting and mining. Additionally, Salome has managed operations as the Managing Director of SALO'S CHICKENS and Vision 500 Investments, specializing in regulatory, privatization, and business consulting. Salome holds a Master's degree in Public Management (Finance) from Carnegie Mellon University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Social Sciences (Economics and Statistics) from the University of Botswana.
