Yuan-Hung Chien

YUAN-HUNG CHIEN is a highly experienced bioinformatics professional currently serving as a Principal Scientist at Boundless Bio since July 2025. Previously, YUAN-HUNG held various positions at Certis Oncology Solutions, Inc. from June 2020 to July 2025, including Principal Data Scientist, where significant contributions were made in machine learning modeling for cancer drug efficacy, synergy analysis, and biomarker identification. Prior experience encompasses roles at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies, where YUAN-HUNG focused on data analysis, deep learning models, and next-generation sequencing. Early in academia, YUAN-HUNG completed a PhD in Biochemistry at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and held research positions studying cellular and molecular biology. Educational qualifications include a BS in Life Science from National Tsing Hua University and an MS in Microbiology and Immunology from National Yang Ming University.
