Travis Key has a diverse work experience in the field of information technology. Travis started their career at Staples in 2000 as a Computer Technician, where they gained expertise in upgrading and installing software and hardware components. After working at Staples for several months, they moved on to Tri State Distribution as an MIS Director. In this role, they directed and coordinated the development and production activities of computerized management information systems. Travis also developed plans for systems development and operations, hardware and software purchases, budget, and staffing. In 2002, Travis joined Bowater Employees Credit Union as the VP of Information Systems. In this position, they were responsible for managing automated information resources, telecommunications, data infrastructure, and security. Travis ensured the security and integrity of electronic information, developed and maintained computer hardware and software, and controlled related risks.
Travis Key earned an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Computer Science from Cleveland State Community College from 1995 to 1997. Travis then went on to Tennessee Wesleyan University, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Information Systems from 2003 to 2005.
