Larry Charney is a seasoned numismatist with extensive experience in the coin and currency market. Currently serving as a numismatist at Stack's Bowers Galleries since September 2022, Larry specializes in the acquisition of coins and currency for grading and sale while building relationships with local dealers and small businesses. Prior to this role, Larry owned and operated Kennett Coins LLC from January 2020 to September 2022, focusing on collections and maximizing returns through grading. Additionally, Larry has a robust background in case coordination with Optum from June 2011 to August 2022 and operated The Coin Cabal from June 2011 to December 2019, further enhancing expertise in coin appraisal and acquisition. Earlier management experience with MetroPCS from October 2009 to June 2012 involved supervising staff and developing new customer leads. Larry holds an associate’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Delaware County Community College.
