Ryan Shavell

Ryan Shavell has five years of work experience. Ryan began their career in 2018 as a Mentor for the 4-H Exploding Bacon Robotics Team 1902, where they taught high schoolers Java programming for robotics, including interacting with CAN buses, performing object tracking with OpenCV, and implementing motion control. In 2020, they began working at the University of Central Florida as a Full Stack Developer, and at Leidos as a Software Engineer and Virtual Simulation Development Intern. Ryan then joined Amdocs in 2022 as a Software Developer, and is currently employed at BoxedUp, Inc. as a Full Stack Engineer, where they are responsible for doing front & back-end development on a Rails application using Ruby, JavaScript, HTML and Sass, as well as creating integrations with external systems and turning mockup designs into production-ready features.

Ryan Shavell is currently attending the University of Central Florida, where they are pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Ryan began their studies in 2018 and is expected to graduate in 2021.
