Michael Lombardo

Michael Lombardo, CIA, has a diverse work experience in the areas of internal audit and accounting. Michael began their career as a Staff Accountant at Rich, Wightman & Company CPAs, LLC, where they gained skills in reconciling accounts, preparing tax reports and financial statements, and responding to regulatory agencies. Michael then moved on to Station Casinos, LLC, where they worked as a Staff Internal Auditor, conducting financial, gaming, and Sarbanes Oxley audits. In this role, Michael demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the ability to work well with others. Currently, Michael is employed at Boyd Gaming as the Director of Internal Audit. Prior to this role, they served as the Internal Audit Manager, where they assisted in creating department budgets, risk assessments, and audit plans.

Michael Lombardo, CIA earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree with a focus on Accounting from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, where they attended from 2004 to 2008. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Internal Auditor certification in 2014.
