Ward Shaw

Ward Shaw is an experienced executive in the gaming industry, currently serving as Executive Vice President of Operations at Boyd Gaming since December 2023, where oversight includes facilities across multiple states. Previously, Ward held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations at Boyd Gaming from October 2018 to December 2023, leading properties such as Ameristar St. Charles Casino Resort Spa and Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa. Ward's career includes significant roles at Pinnacle Entertainment as Vice President and General Manager, overseeing operations at both Ameristar St. Charles and River City Casino & Hotel, and General Manager at Casino Aztar. Ward has also contributed to Walton Construction as Chief Administration Officer and held various managerial positions at Harrah's Entertainment. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing, Finance, and General Management from Indiana University's Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Vanderbilt University. Prior to their corporate career, Ward served as a Lieutenant in the US Navy.
