Harsha Tharkabhushanam

Harsha Tharkabhushanam is a highly experienced data science professional with a strong background in machine learning and analytics. Currently serving as Principal Data Scientist and Head of Data Science and AI at bp since March 2022, Harsha previously held leadership roles at BJSS, spearheading data science initiatives for prominent clients in sectors such as retail banking and grocery. At Tyco Retail Solutions, Harsha led the development of predictive modeling products and analytics engines, achieving significant efficiency improvements. Early career roles included positions at PROS, focusing on B2B pricing science and optimization. Harsha holds a Ph.D. in Computational and Applied Mathematics from The University of Texas at Austin, alongside multiple master's degrees in Applied Mathematics and Electrical Engineering.
