Joe Long has over 30 years of experience in the retirement plan industry. Joe'smost recent role was as the Regional Sales Director (South Central) at BPAS, where they supported 4,500 retirement plans and over $110 billion in trust assets. Prior to that, they worked at July Business Services as a Regional Sales Director, where they focused on building services for retirement plan advisors and RIAs. Joe also served as the Retirement Marketing Director at Delaware Investments, where they sold 401(k) plans and provided plan design consultations. Joe began their career at Aetna Financial Services as a Regional Director, where they developed marketing strategies and created plan designs for the defined contribution marketplace.
Joe Long has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from the University of Oklahoma. Joe also holds several certifications including Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Certified Pension Consultant (CPC), Qualified Plan Financial Consultant (QPFC), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), and Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA). Joe obtained their QPA certification in September 1993, CPC certification in April 1994, AIF certification in May 2006, and QPFC certification in August 2009.
