Alessandra Ravera has extensive work experience in the banking industry, particularly in procurement and IT management. Alessandra started their career at Diffel RCS in 1988 as an Analyst Programmer. From 1990 to 1995, they worked at Diffel S.p.A. as a Network Services Specialist. In 1996, Alessandra joined Banca Carige spa, where they held various roles including Functional Analyst, ICT Governance Specialist, IT Budget Controller, Head of ICT Cost & Vendor Management, and Head of IT Contract, Performance & Cost Management. Alessandra worked at Banca Carige spa until 2022. In 2012, Alessandra also worked at Banca d'Italia - Eurosistema as a member of the CIPA committee and the interbank CIPA group. Currently, they are the Head of ICT Procurement Office at BPER Banca, a position they started in 2022.

Alessandra Ravera attended SDA Bocconi in 2013, where they studied IS Governance Allineamento strategico e governo dei sistemi informativi. In 2012, they also studied at SDA Bocconi, focusing on IS Performance. In 2008-2009, they attended Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, studying CeTIF - La gestione dei processi commerciali organizzativi nello sportello del futuro. Prior to that, they completed their Diploma Istituto Tecnico e Professionale at IIS L. Einaudi from 1981 to 1986. Alessandra also obtained additional certifications including the ITIL 4 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management and the COBIT 5 Foundation.
