Sergio Taramelli has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Sergio began their career at Nocera Informatica srl as an Insurance Software Analyst & Programmer in 1996 before transitioning to an Insurance IT Customer Service Expert. Sergio later joined Banca Popolare di Bergamo - Credito Varesino as a Software Analyst & Programmer. In 2003, they moved to BPU Banca as an IT Process Senior Analyst & Service Level Specialist. Sergio then worked at UBI Banca as an IT Process Senior Analyst & Service Level Manager. At UBI Sistemi e Servizi, they held various roles, including IT Application Lifecycle Manager and IT Project Manager. Sergio also served as the Head of IT Project Management. Moving forward, they joined Intesa Sanpaolo as the Head of Digital Business Partner ISBD Retail Projects. Currently, they are working at BPER Banca as the Staff Chief Information Officer - CIO, Staff IT Governance, and the Head of IT Special Projects.

Sergio Taramelli obtained a Diploma Perito Informatico in Informatica from Istituto Tecnico Industriale P. Paleocapa in the years 1989 to 1994. Additionally, they acquired multiple certificates including Agile Scrum Foundation from EXIN in 2018, Business Relationship Management Professional (BRMP®) from APMG International in 2016, Prince2® Foundation from APMG-International in 2013, and ITIL® Foundation from Examination Institute for Information Science in 2006.
