Shah Ali Newaj Topu

Shah Ali Newaj Topu is a Senior Technology Advisor at BRAC IT since July 2023, and has served as a Director and Chief Technology Officer at SELISE Digital Platforms since July 2011, where involvement as technical lead includes projects for a major Swiss insurance company and a platform for musicians. Topu worked as a Guest Lecturer at Independent University, Bangladesh, teaching a course on DevOps from February to June 2023. Prior roles include Executive Vice President at Kona Software Lab Ltd. and Senior Vice President at Shohoz, where significant architectural work was executed on a microservice architecture for food delivery and transport ticketing. Earlier experiences span from Development Manager at KAZ Software Limited to Software Engineer positions at BDCOM Online Limited and NCLL. Topu holds a BSc in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University, attained between 1996 and 1999.
