Mr. Masa Isono has been actively involved in venture development and corporate partnering for Japanese companies with U.S. and Asian partners for more than 20 years.
At DEFTA, he is specifically in charge of value-creating services for its portfolio companies. Combining skills of international business development, joint ventures management, and knowledge of strategic planning and corporate finance, he provides entrepreneurs and corporations with experience, insight and the guidance needed to build strong businesses.
Mr. Masa has B.A. from Waseda University, and M.B.A. and M.A. in Economics from Boston University. He is a CFA charterholder, CPA (inactive) and a Chartered Member of The Security Analysts Association of Japan.

BRACNet Limited
BRACNet is Bangladesh’s premier Internet Service Provider (ISP), established in 1996 as BRAC’s IT/ISP wing, it later formed a Joint Venture company with US investors gNet/DEFTA Partners in 2005. By the end of 2009, BRACNet expanded its broadband internet and intranet (data) services to 58 out of 64 districts of the country. At present, BRACNet’s services cover all the 64 districts of Bangladesh.
