Ovunc Tuzel

Ovunc Tuzel is a Senior Autonomy Software Engineer at Brain Corp since November 2023, with prior experience as a Computer Vision Engineer and Team Lead at Spacee, where leadership involved directing a team in developing reliable detection systems for retail environments. At Spacee, Ovunc also introduced a patented 2D barcode detection method that enhanced label reading accuracy. Previous roles include Software Engineer at The VOID, where Ovunc developed a low-cost marker tracking system for virtual reality, along with a sensor fusion algorithm. An early career included innovative projects as a Graduate Research Assistant at Oregon State University and a Research Intern at Carnegie Mellon University. Ovunc holds a Master of Science in Robotics from Oregon State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics from Sabanci University.
