Marta Gonzalez

Marta Gonzalez is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the development of software for image-guided surgery at Brainlab since September 2011. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager and Team Lead, Marta is responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality requirements, particularly in the FDA market, including the preparation and submission of 510k applications. Previous roles at Brainlab include Project Manager and Project Engineer in R&D Surgery, where responsibilities involved the development of medical navigation systems and risk analysis. Marta commenced her career with a diploma thesis and internship at Forschungs-neutronenquelle Heinz Maier Leibnitz, focusing on programs for medical therapy using fusion neutrons. Educational achievements include a degree in Medical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich and Industrial Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, along with certification as a Project Manager at IPMA Level C.
