Paul Bloembergen

Paul Bloembergen is a Senior Software Engineer at Brainlab since August 2023. Prior to this role, Paul served as a Senior Embedded Software Engineer and Embedded Software Engineer at agrilution from March 2020 to August 2023, where responsibilities included designing and maintaining embedded code for the Plantcube and developing tests to verify production code. Earlier experience includes working as a Scientific Developer at SVI from January 2016 to November 2019, focusing on developing visualization tools for 3D microscopic images and optimizing algorithms for GPU performance. Paul also completed a research internship at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health in 2013, examining continuous excitation functions in MRI settings. Paul holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, earned between 2007 and 2015.
