Kavita Vora has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Kavita is currently the Chief People Officer at BrainPOP, an online educational solution. Prior to joining BrainPOP, Kavita founded Kaia Ventures. Kavita also served as the Chief People Officer at Splice.com, a music creation platform, and Jopwell, a diversity tech start-up. Kavita held the role of Chief People Officer / CHRO at MakerBot, a 3D printing company, which was successfully acquired by Stratasys. Kavita also worked at HP as an HR Executive Director / HR Business Partner. Earlier in their career, Kavita held roles at BabyCenter as a Finance Director and at Johnson & Johnson as a Senior Financial Analyst.

Kavita Vora holds an MBA in Global Management from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, which they completed in 2009. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. degree in Finance & Philosophy from The College of New Jersey. In terms of additional certifications, they have obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from SHRM in May 2021. Furthermore, they have completed Lean Six Sigma Blackbelt Training from Hewlett Packard Enterprise in October 2014 and also holds a Lean Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification from Johnson & Johnson, earned in January 2003.
