Kristen Chiappone has a diverse work experience in animation and design. Kristen is currently working as an Animator at BrainPOP since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Flash Animator, Board Artist, and Designer at YiddishPOP from 2016 onwards. Kristen started their career as a Freelancer in 2015, taking on various roles such as a Freelance Character Animator for commercials and TV and a Freelance After Effects Animator at The Productive Studios. Kristen also worked as a Flash Animator at Aardman Nathan Love in 2016 and an After Effects Animator at High 5 Games from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they served as an After Effects Animator and Colorist for Team Umizoomi at Curious Pictures from 2009 to 2013 and as an After Effects Colorist for Team Umizoomi at Nickelodeon from 2007 to 2008. Kristen also gained experience as an Assistant Animator at Bunko Studios, Inc. in 2007.

Kristen Chiappone received their Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Animation from the School of Visual Arts, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.
