Derek O'Donnell

Derek O'Donnell has extensive work experience in various leadership and management positions. Derek began their career at Kerry Group as a Trainee Accountant before moving on to Intel as an Assistant Tax Accountant. Derek then worked at Goblin Ireland as a Management Accountant and later joined LEO Pharma in the same role. In 2001, they joined Coca-Cola Amatil Ltd and held several positions, including National Business Performance Manager and General Manager of Supply Chain. From 2013 to 2016, they served as the General Manager of Australian Beer Company, where they oversaw strategic planning and brand development. Derek then joined Goodman Fielder as an Operations Director, driving transformation and optimization in the supply network. Currently, they are Senior Vice President of Strategy, Transformation, CX, Marketing & Innovation for CHEP Europe at Brambles.

Derek O'Donnell obtained a Chartered Management Accountant degree in Management Accounting from CIMA during the period of 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, Derek O'Donnell completed their Bachelor of Business Studies degree in Finance/Economics at the University of Limerick from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, Derek O'Donnell obtained a certification in "The Role of the Board" from the FT Board Director Programme in November 2023.
