Andrew Hope has a strong background in the travel and technology industries. Andrew started their career as an IT Consultant at FDM Group, where they specialized in PLSQL, Unix, Basic Java, and Excel. Andrew then joined British Airways as an IT Consultant, where they maintained IT systems in various departments using coding languages such as VBA, Java, SQL, and Shell.

In 2016, Andrew joined International Airlines Group (IAG) as an API Analyst, where they worked until 2019. Andrew then moved to British Airways again, this time as the NDC Industry and Innovation Team Lead, responsible for developing new capabilities and innovations.

Andrew Hope attended St Christophers School Letchworth from 1995 to 2009, where they completed A levels and GCSE's. In 2009, they enrolled at Anglia Ruskin University and graduated in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Gaming and Animation Technology. In terms of additional certifications, Andrew obtained the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. in May 2021. Andrew also holds an ITIL certification, although the specific institution and date of acquisition are unavailable.
